December 8,
This comes late for today, but I try to finish "Winter in Madrid" and it is a really slow read for me. I'm also busy with editing my blog pages and making new reading-lists for 2014, thanks to Petra X this is now way easier as it could have been.
But the treat for today has to be out today, so here is it:
New Books for my Challenge and the Stack of Gifts:
Gabriele Wolf - "Still und starr ruht der See": This are lines from a well known Christmas song and behind it, are some mystery short stories. This goes to housekeeper and college I., who loves crime and murder.
Gerry O'Brien - "Böse Wichte": J. loves light and humorous stories and this is, I hope, something that falls into this category.
Nathan Englander - "What We Talk About When We Talk About Anne Frank": This is for me again, short stories from a guy, which impressed me with his "The Ministry of Special Cases". So I have high hopes for this book, and it was really nice to find something from my wishlist in "Cash & Raus".
This results in 44 books from Charity against 95 Books from Amazon.
